Oktoberfest Münster is a safe place to celebrate. So that you can feel even safer on our festival grounds, the entire grounds and the tent are a SafeNow zone for the first time this year. With the free SafeNow app, you can get help quickly and unobtrusively anywhere on the grounds.

How does the SafeNow app work?

In an emergency, simply press a button to send an alarm via the app. Our security personnel will be notified immediately, receive your exact location and will be with you as quickly as possible. You can also choose to alert only people you have selected yourself, such as friends or family.

Here are some situations in which the app can provide valuable help:

1. In the event of discomfort, harassment or distress
2. Support for medical emergencies
3. Intervening in disputes in which you cannot or do not wish to intervene yourself
4. In case of mobility restrictions, e.g. to access the gallery

You can also use SafeNow as your own alarm system with family and friends outside the marquee. Unlike a call or message, the app plays a loud sound that overrides "Do not disturb" and silent mode. Over 600,000 people already use SafeNow to take better care of each other.
