Yes, admission to the Oktoberfest is only permitted from the age of 18. Under 18s may only enter if accompanied by a parent or guardian. No parent's note, no adult companion (brother, aunt, grandpa, friend, etc.).

Oktoberfest is cashless. We accept all major debit cards, credit cards (exception: American Express), Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.

If you would like to tip your waiter* for the great job, then this is also cashless and only goes to the respective waiter*.

Lockers instead of a checkroom!

Our aim is to continuously optimize ourselves and so we have a new locker system that makes storing your clothes easier than ever before.

You can simply rent a locker via our website under "Info / Lockers" in advance of your visit. After payment you will receive a confirmation email and on the day of the event an email with the locker number and pin code. Of course, you can also do this on the evening of your visit.

About 2-3 jackets fit in one compartment, so feel free to share one with your friends so that you can get away cheaper.

Yes, we try to return all forgotten and found items to their owners. There is a Lost & Found area on the marquee grounds for this purpose.

Time slot for visiting the LOST & FOUND area:

• ONLY on event days!
• 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. (...and only during this time!!!)
• FESTZELT ENTRANCE (please ask for Gerald Rodenstein, DO NOT run in everywhere!!!)
• If you are unable to attend during this time slot, you can also ask for Mr. Rodenstein at the entrance during the event from around 6 p.m. in exceptional situations - unfortunately you will then have to allow for a longer waiting time.

Unfortunately, for organizational reasons, only a 4-table booking is possible. 

In the "normal" categories, 20 people sit at two sets of beer tables - if you prefer more seating space, we recommend the new "Premium" and "Comfort" categories. Here you have more space due to a 16-person occupancy.

No, but of course nothing stands in the way of a visit from friends at a table - but there is no room for you to sit down. Please also not if other visitors at this table or the next table have not yet taken their seats and there should still be room. Otherwise this will only lead to misunderstandings.

For standing ticket holders, there are bar tables and plenty of free space to the right and left under the galleries. Standing tables are also available at the back of the marquee, or you can simply take to the dance floor in front of the stage or use our outdoor area with funfair and umbrella bar. The umbrella bar opens at 9 pm!

Unfortunately not, but there are two parking garages nearby!

No, of course you are free to choose your outfit. However, we recommend sturdy shoes and traditional costume.

Yes, mobile tickets and Print@home tickets can be shown on your cell phone. It is not necessary to print out the tickets.
