In 2014 and 2015 , Die PARTYVÖGEL® thrilledover 10,000 visitors at the world's largest Arena Oktoberfest in the VELTINS Arena AufSchalke and were even hired for the annual Biathlon World Cup AufSchalke, which attracts over 40,000 visitors. But it is probably not only these extraordinary events that have contributed to the band around bandleader Andi Schömig enjoying a very high level of recognition throughout the German-speaking world. After 2009, 2010, 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018, the band received another "Alpine Oscar" from "Top of the Mountains - Die Besten der Berge" in October 2019. This time, they were presented with the "BEST - MUSIKER 2020" music award.
Andi
The "old hand", with over 30 years of stage experience in showbiz, is the band leader, driving force and face of PARTYVÖGEL®. With his winning manner and an excessive amount of sympathy, he inspires the crowds as frontman and singer. When things really get going on stage, he comes first. Passion, diligence, steadfastness and skill have earned him great respect in the scene.
Juergen
After his training at an American school, he was a popular guitarist in many musicals such as Starlight Express in Bochum and Miss Saigon. As a son of the 80s, he feels comfortable playing everything from rock to jazz, especially on stage. Jürgen has gained experience in accompanying artists such as Chris Andrews, Peter Orloff and many others, as well as in many studio productions, where he has been able to put his guitar and voice to good use.
Tobi
The chick in the bird's nest joined PARTYVÖGEL® in April 2019 and could well be the son of one or two of the band's musicians. At just 26 years old, he has enormous skills on the squeezebox and is responsible for the ALPEN ROCK section. He also cultivates his passion for string instruments in his private life and therefore has a whole collection of accordions and Styrian harmonicas. But other keyboard instruments are also part of his remit.
